Information Collection and Use
Emeraldelegance.com is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Emeraldelegance.com collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

When you make a purchase on our site, you automatically become a member. You provide the following information to Emeraldelegance.com:

Emeraldelegance.com uses aggregate information from demographic surveys, traffic patterns and IP addresses to customize our site. Aggregate information is occasionally shared with partners of Emeraldelegance.com to plan advertising or promotions. We do not share any personally identifiable information.

Emeraldelegance.com gives you access to third party partners to provide you with certain services that are detailed below. Emeraldelegance.com will provide that third party with your transaction information and then that third party will collect additional information if needed to provide you with the requested service. Catalog, Newsletters, Etc.
If a user wishes to subscribe to our catalog, newsletter, membership kit (Diamond Education Kit) etc., we ask for contact information such as name, street address and email address to provide these communications. Because we respect our users' privacy, we provide a way to opt-out of these communications. Please see the choice and opt-out section below.

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send you an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though you can deactivate your account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.

Surveys & Sweepstakes
From time to time, our site requests information from users via surveys or sweepstakes. Participation in these surveys or sweepstakes is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name, shipping address and email address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Our customers can use the special request page to enquire about products that they cannot find on the website, such as, for example, special orders. Personal information is gathered during this process.

Emeraldelegance.com takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via our website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - Secure Socket Layers (SSLs). All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. All certified Emeralds sold by EmeraldElegance.com are genuine, authentic and of consistent high quality and value. All Emeralds are individually cut and polished by master emerald cutters to bring out each emerald's natural beauty and fire, as well to maximize each stone's brilliance and color. Highly trained jewelry setters and polishers then finish each piece of fine jewelry to meet the most exacting standards of our industry. Certain selected emerald solitaires are accompanied by an Independent Lab Certificate from GIA, EGL, AGS, HRD or IGI (price tag may vary).

This warranty covers each certified emerald for defects in manufacturing and/or natural fissures that produce cracks or chips over the time in the stone only, and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft. This warranty is valid only at EmeraldElegance.comä. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than EmeraldElegance.comä will void this warranty. EmeraldElegance.comä DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF THIS ITEM, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Returning Merchandise to Emeraldelegance.com

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return any non-engraved item in its original condition for a refund or exchange it to Emeraldelegance.com within 10 days of delivery date for a full refund of your purchase price, minus shipping*, handling, gift packaging, or other charges. Please note that the merchandise must be undamaged and in “new and unused” condition (defined below) to be acceptable for refund or exchange. Special orders are not returnable.

Refunds will be in the original form of payment, except for wire transfers which will be refunded via company check. If the returned merchandise involves layaway, the 25% deposit is not refundable. Multiple merchandise returns exceeding five (5) of the same item or style number within a 30 calendar day period will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. The returned merchandise must be accompanied by proof of purchase and all original documentation and packaging; otherwise, the return will not be honored.

You must obtain a Return for Inspection (RFI) number from Emeraldelegance.com before returning merchandise. We will not accept any returned merchandise without an RFI number. Contact a Customer Service Specialist by calling 1-800-975-6959 to obtain an RFI number.

All merchandise is visually inspected upon receipt for signs of wear prior to the issuance of any refunds, exchanges or credits. " New and unused condition" means that there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes; the security tags are still attached; and the item must not have been sized or altered in any way. We cannot accept a return of any item with any indication that it has been used.

Return Instructions:

  • Repack the merchandise in its original packaging materials, including all paperwork. For diamonds, enclose the original copy of the matching or identifying certificates.
  • Cut out the pre-printed return shipping label from your original packing list and affix it to the outside of the box with packing tape. Ship your return prepaid and insured for the full purchase price by a carrier that offers package tracking such as United Parcel Service (UPS) or Federal Express to the address listed on the pre-printed label.
  • The RFI number must be written on the original invoice and on the pre-printed return shipping label.
Emeraldelegance.com is not responsible for merchandise that it does not actually receive or that is not returned in accordance with these terms. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-975-6959 if you have any questions or concerns.

*If you receive damaged or incorrect merchandise, contact a Customer Service Specialist no later than 2 business days after receipt at 1-800-975-6959. On a case by case basis, we will cover shipping charges up to a maximum of $50 upon our receipt of the defective or mis-delivered merchandise. If there is extensive damage to the box, refuse delivery and contact a Customer Service Specialist immediately at 1-800-975-6959
